MANAGING THE NETWORK

WHO DOES WHAT?

The Yarram Yarram Landcare Network Inc is an Incorporated Association operating under a set of Standard Rules (version 090512 - updated version 4 June 2016).

The Network is comprised of members from across its 6 active groups, a number of inactive groups, as well as independent members.  YYLN is administered by a Board of Management which is made up of volunteers from the YYLN elected by the membership.  The Board  meets every two months and members of the Network are welcome to join these meetings:
  • ​10.30am - 1pm on Monday, 4 December 2023​
  • Monday, 5 February 2024
  • Monday, 8 April 2024
  • Monday, 17 June 2024
  • Monday, 5 August 2024
  • Monday, 7 October 2024
  • Monday, 9 December 2024

​The Network normally holds its Annual General Meeting in October each year.  

​THE BOARD'S SUB-COMMITTEES
The Board has a number of sub-committees usually chaired by a member of the Board.  The Board welcomes members of the Network who would like to contribute at the sub-committee level:
  • Employment Steering Committee
  • Communications Committee
  • JARR Committee
  • Projects Committee

STAFF
YYLN has two members of staff.
  • Simon Hamilton, Executive Officer.  Simon works one day per week.
  • Anna Feely, Facilitator.  Anna works 2.5 days per week.
From time to time, the Board also hired contractors to coordinate on-ground works.
