Welcome to our community

The Yarram Yarram Landcare Network Board, Staff and Landcare Groups welcome you to our community. We look forward to your involvement in Landcare across our region.

The Yarram Yarram Landcare Network is a vibrant bunch of individuals who work together to make a difference locally. Become part of this community by joining your local Landcare group or joining as an Independent Member.  We are also strengthening our ties with Junior Landcare and Intrepid Landcare in our region and look forward to collaborating on future events and projects.

Your membership covers you and your household, and is your key to:

  • Learning more about sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship programs (including invasive plant/animal control; remnant vegetation management; erosion control; waterway protection; biodiversity corridors and many other issues facing our environment)

  • Finding out when field days, workshops and events and environmental projects are being held so you can join in

  • Receiving Landcare information and support for your Landcare initiatives
  •
  • Receiving Public Liability & Personal Accident – Voluntary Workers Insurance when undertaking approved YYLN activities
  •
  • Learning about funding opportunities to help with your Landcare projects

BE PART OF A REGIONAL, STATE, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT!!
As a member of a Group you will automatically become a member of the Yarram Yarram Landcare Network.  While members generally concentrate their projects within their Group area, they can also participate in activities organised by other groups in our Network, and will be connected to the Landcare movement across Victoria, Australia and internationally.

MEMBERSHIP FEE
Your Members Fee is currently $45/household per annum.  This fee covers liability insurance for you and your household when participating in Landcare activities and supports Network events, the production and sharing of key information (Newsletters, YYLN Magazine, Fact Sheets, and this website), the AGM, and other Network-wide initiatives.  Further information is available in the Welcome Pack.
